چکیده

Phytoplasma-infected Chinese cherry (Cerasus pseudocerasus L.) exhibits symptoms of phyllody and stiff fruit. To reveal the molecular mechanism fruit, current study integrated transcriptome with metabolome. Results showed that differentially expressed genes accumulated metabolites were related to a high proportion two aspects: pathogen resistance signaling or regulatory functions, fruit majorly induced by plant biotic stress response via phytohormones signal transduction, especially pathways salicylic acid, auxin, abscisic acid. Notably, there was large overlap between phytoplasma drought genes. Phytohormone content displayed significant difference acid phytoplasma-infected higher than healthy whereas zeatin, jasmonic IAA opposite results. In addition, expression key candidate genes, including IAA4, IAA9, IAA14, IAA31, ARF5, ARF9, GH3.1, GH3.17, SAUR20, SAUR32, SAUR40, PR1a, PRB1, TGA10, SnRK2.3, AHK2, responsible for conclusion, contributed foundation understanding disease on better development, found potential involved in which could be used further research associated fields.

Genetic Diversity and Domestication Footprints of Chinese Cherry [Cerasus pseudocerasus (Lindl.) G.Don] as Revealed by Nuclear Microsatellites

Chinese cherry [Cerasus pseudocerasus (Lindl.) G.Don] is a commercially important fruit crop in China, but its structure patterns and domestication history remain imprecise. To address these questions, we estimated the genetic structure and domestication history of Chinese cherry using 19 nuclear microsatellite markers and 650 representative accessions (including 118 Cerasus relatives) selected...

Genetic and molecular characterization of three novel S-haplotypes in sour cherry (Prunus cerasus L.)

Tetraploid sour cherry (Prunus cerasus L.) exhibits gametophytic self-incompatibility (GSI) whereby the specificity of self-pollen rejection is controlled by alleles of the stylar and pollen specificity genes, S-RNase and SFB (S haplotype-specific F-box protein gene), respectively. As sour cherry selections can be either self-compatible (SC) or self-incompatible (SI), polyploidy per se does not...

New reports of endophytic fungi associated with cherry (Prunus avium) and sour cherry (Prunus cerasus) trees in Iran

Endophytic fungi constitute a remarkable multifarious group of microorganisms live within plants tissues without causing any obvious negative effect. Endophytic fungi have been found in every plant species examined to date. During an investigation on endophytic fungi, 123 fungal isolates were obtained from healthy twigs and leaves of cherry (Prunus avium) and sour cherry (P. cerasus) trees in I...
